Outcomes

Symptomatic recurrence, pain, quality of life, sexual function, organ function, costs, and adverse events.

Results

Recurrence and pain outcomes did not differ significantly among groups; some treatment-associated symptoms were reported less often than with continued GnRH-a.

Limitations

Small sample; only 21 participants received the capsule; all participants had surgery and initial GnRH-a treatment; the study stopped below its planned enrollment.
